Not Bad

The vocals sometimes seem a little whack melodically - like where you do the light choral singing. The screams are actually pretty cool, I like the effects you put on the voice. The audio quality for the entire piece could've been a lot better, though.

I'm into melodic death metal. So, to hear the audio quality of the drums sound drowned out kinda turned me off. I couldn't even make out the bass kicks.

I liked the melodic rhythm section at 1:53-2:08. I felt that stood out as one of the best sections. The soloing was... hmmm... just didn't seem to do it for me.

honestly the sound levels for both vocals and drums and kind of fading in and out due to reasons we couldn't understand :(

and yeah you hit the spot!, we all thought that was the best melodic part too :P
thanks for the review! :)

Peaceful

Great tone setter for a video game. Nice job. Can't hear anything that doesn't make this piece unworthy of a 10.

Thanks for listening!

Very Nice Job

The atmosphere is great. It reminds me of a mech battle of some kind. I could totally see this working excellent in an ATB scenario.

thanks, I didn't notice your review. It's nice that people keep noticing it

This song isn't "bad", but it really isn't that good either. Whatever plug-in you used didn't seem to have too polished of a sound. The higher melodies in the song are also really inconsistent due to the very slow decay you put on some of the instruments.

It doesn't seem to gel well together. I'm not against the leads you used either, but it was extremely minimalist. I thought for sure that something ranked so highly would have much better complexity.

it was a try and that helped me a lot to improve my skills ^^

Thanks for the review.

Well, I will review since you kindly asked. ^^

Not going to lie, I'm not a big trance/techno fan. Considering the strengths of this piece, however, and the genre it represents - I think it's safe to assume this is quiet excellent. I wish the piano would've decayed a little slower when it was featured, but otherwise superb job!

Fredgy responds:

thanks :p
ye no problem that it isn't your genre ;)

Well done, sir

Excellent use of the bells and piano. I like how they supplement the symphonic parts during the majority of the composition - keeping the complexity subtle but strong enough to be noticed. Great layering here with the strings too. I see so many different things being applied here at once that it's really hard to comment on the strengths.

I would say you remind me of Hitoshi Sakimoto, but even this has a little more variance than his lighter mooded pieces at times.

Zero123Music responds:

hey, thanks - I'm glad you noticed the bells and piano :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it^^

Hmm...

Yep, haven't heard enough of these Tetris remakes in our time...

Unrl responds:

You have been deprived..
